The Mars Volta

On March 1st, The Mars Volta will release Frances the Mute, the eagerly anticipated follow-up to the critically acclaimed debut Deloused in the Comatorium. With Frances the Mute, The Mars Volta will unleash an epic and explosive collection of tracks that will have the music intelligentsia scrambling to find new adjectives to describe the band's frenetic and chaotic sound (not too mention sending them to their dictionaries to decipher the song lyrics). Frances the Mute, produced by Omar Rodriguez and mixed by Rich Costey, features 5 groundbreaking tracks and clocks in at a whopping 77 minutes!
To get you salivating for the full-release check out the first single "The Widow". Please do yourself a favor and crank this as loud as you can as it demands your full attention.
