So back to the news of the hour, Jack Thompson. I'm like a dog going to eat his own shit, I just keep coming back over and over to the same thing. However, it's a pretty sweet piece of turd i'm snogging up to right now. Tommy boy was actually removed from the first of the civil suits regarding GTA, you can enjoy the sweetness right Here!.
Oh god...like sweet fruit. I find anytime in history when someone is put on trial about their competency, they almost always leave and say "It was my choice". That always strikes me as funny, because it never really is. He knows that eventually somebody will get his involvement leveraged to a place to fuck with the outcome of the trial. He almost says as much in the article,
"The other side wants to make me the issue," Thompson said. "The important thing is that the clients be served."
That's the spindoctor way of saying "People think i'm a fucking lunatic, and they'll use it to destroy my colleagues case" which is true, but honestly, after seeing this man's work as a lawyer and activist, even if I agreed with him 100% i wouldn't want him on my bench when game time came. He's way too fucking mental. Like almost any zealot, facts will not deter him, and he'll continue to bleat his refrain without thinking about the actual semantic content of it.
Basically he's an older version of me, with less understanding of how to appeal to our generation. Plus, i'm only a bit of dickhead, not a total douche.
