The NHL and the NHLPA reach agreement in principle on new CBA
It's about friggin' time the NHL and the NHLPA started to look in the same direction together. Holy crap... I mean, I only ever watched hockey during the play-off season, so a missed season went un-noticed to me. However, this is something that represents our nation. Our national past time (one behind drinking).
Get it together... today people, today!
Also, whenever the NHL returns, it could look a lot different. ... a possibility of 13 rule changes for the NHL including:
- reducing the size of goaltending equipment and limiting how goalies can handle the puck
- ejecting players who get an instigator penalty in the game's final five minutes
- and giving players who shoot the puck into the stands from the defensive end a two-minute penalty
