Online Ordering Debacle
by Crom
Have you ordered anything online lately? Yeah, don't. You will be betrayed by the organization you seek to patron. I was forced to call my credit card provider, because apparently when the transaction was attempted, the phone number I had provided was not the same as what the CC company had on record. The amusing twist to this story is as follows: When I called the Mastercard minions, I was asked by their tin sounding automated directory potentate to input my current telephone number of record. Amusingly I input the same number that I had givin to the BestBuy rejects when ordering, and was told was rejected, except it WAS the phone number of record that Mastercard had.
If you can unravel the nature of this machiavellian skullduggery, then you are smarter then I, because as far as I can tell, this was not some elaborate ATeam/Mission Impossible-switcheroo-smokebomb-trickeration in order to knock me out and fly me to a fake room with a dead girl in it, in order to trick me into revealing my Russian weapon smuggling counterparts. What the hell is your damage Best Buy?
