jPod Cancelled…

This has to be the biggest mistake that the CBC has (recently) made. The show was well directed, well acted, and well produced; it was true to the original book (minus the swearing); and it had all the appeal of a good, two season mini-series.
But no, CBC has cruelly pulled the plug prematurely (along with MVP: The Secret Lives of Hockey Wives) on this project. Ok, MVP was pretty much a ripoff of Footballers' Wives, but jPod had originality (not to mention a 100% Canadian background) going for it at least. This show had renewed my faith that the antiquated brass running the CBC had seen some light and were taking a few baby steps towards it.
If you're like me, and completely choked by all this, you can lodge a complaint with the CBC. The phone number is 1-866-306-4636, and you want to ask for the programming department. Looks like business hours are 8 am - 5 pm, central time.
