For the past weeks, D'Banj's popular reality TV show "The Koko Mansion" who's mission statement is to source out Nigeria's finest woman to the public promising "5 million Naira (approximately $35 000), a luxury car and a Chris Aires ring, as well as the title of D'banj's kokolette for a full year accompanying the singer to events in Nigeria as well as abroad." Koko Mansion been making top news feeds with enthusiastic fans posting videos of the "kokolettes" in action as they face challenges set by D'Banj and the producers of course to win the crown. The competition has a Big Brother feel to it as 12 girls go through set tasks to prove their womanly worth while residing in a state of the art apartment in Lagos.

D'Banj can most certainly be defined as Nigeria's first actual pop star who began releasing hits in 2005 with his first album No Long Thing and is now immersed in all aspects of the Nigerian entertainment industry. Tongolo was the hit single off the album and produced D'Banj's alter ego as the Koko Master.

While preparing to pick Nigeria's official kokolette, "The Koko Master" has just released a new video for the song Gbono Feli Feli.
