Get Ink Out!

I had a little incident where my dog ate a pen on the carpet. That resulted in a bunch of ink staining the carpet. Dried ink on a beige carpet - not good. I wasn't very hopeful for a good resolution. That was until I went on the internet and found some small site that said hairspray could remove ink.

I was very sketpical but without any other hope I grabbed some hairspray and went to town. Insanely, it worked. It worked really really well. ALL of the ink came out to the extent that you can't even tell there was anything there. You simply spray the hairspray on the ink and then blot with something you don't mind wrecking (the ink comes out and will stain). And thus, I had to share the domestic miracle that was this ink removal with the R4NT Blog community.
