After seeing this posted in our very own forums by Dijita, I couldn't help post my initial feelings about this in here.

Okay let me start by saying... WTF.

What in gods name is this? Nintendo has officially gone off the deep-end..

I can only imagine the translated conversation at a recent board meeting to discuss the new console:

Mr.Miyamoto: We need to go back to our roots and be one with the samurai

Board of Directors: Samurai you say.. Don't you mean Mario?

Mr.Miyamoto: Um.. Yes.. Mario.. Hey! That's a great idea, let's package all the Mario games into this brand new console recycling our hay day into our last effort to compete agaisnt Sony and Microsoft.

Board of Directors: Shit man you'ze crazy, but hell we're pretty much screwed anyways, let's go out with a bang!

Mr.Miyamoto: Wiz bang poof!

Board of Directors: What?

Mr.Miyamoto: Sorry, I just had a fantastic idea...

Board of Directors: *sigh* what now?

Mr.Miyamoto: I see colors, lots of colors! Oh and some sort of remote control. We've never followed in the past, let's make a TV remote that is actually a controller if you hold it sideways! Oh oh oh! And put a power button on it so those lazy Americans never have to leave the couch.. We'll sell millllllliiiooons!

Board of Directors: Here's your cheque Mr.Miyamoto.

This will be their last console.. Mark my words.
