Bobsleigh!

Man alive, it got freaking cold this week; then again I guess we couldn't avoid winter for the 'entire' year. Lucky enough the day we headed out for a local media event at COP (Canada Olympic Park, here in Calgary), it was not only freezing, but I forgot my gloves! Then again, I didn™t have much time to regret not having them while zooming down the Bobsleigh course at over 120km/h.. Wow. Wow. Wow.
I don't want to ruin too much in the explanations since we are going to be releasing a more detailed article/review of the entire experience sometime in the near future. However! We made it down the 1.5km run in just over a minute (1:03 to be exact), which wasn't terrible considering we were the first ones down the run, and thus cleaned off the track of all the fallen snow. Other media attended the event such as Global Television, Shine FM, The Score, QR77, Shaw TV, and City TV. Sadly, we came in last (I'll just say we œmight” have been going down the hill with the least amount of weight! Ooh burn!).
Anyways.. If anyone caught the special (regarding this media event) on TV during the Olympics let me know, I'd be curious to hear about it. Otherwise stayed tuned in a future edition of R4NT (not the blog) for a full expose on the Bob.
Lastly, congratulations to our Canadians: Pierre Lueders and Lascelles Brown who managed to slide to a Silver medal the other day in Torino!
