Klipsch Promedia 2.1

klipsch promedia 2.1

After about 6 years with my ultra awesome Monsoon MM-700's they finally were in need of replacing.. The actual interior wiring had become loose, and would make the sound blare static if you would look at them the wrong way...

This is where these new speakers come in..

I've always heard great things about Klipsch, so I decided to dive in and get a pair. I was expecting to pay close to $300 (cdn) for 'em, but luckily I found an open box set at London Drugs for under $200, so I snagged 'em immediately.

I™ve been hard pressed to leave my computer, since I™ve been blaring thru tones of variations of music (everything from hiphop to classical) to get a feel and let alone basque in the waves of sound. Absolutely lovin™ it. Side note, these speaks are THX certified (granted I'm not sure how much I believe that, even though it does say Lucasfilm on the logo); regardless they sound unreal.

Soo warm, so crisp and just everywhere. I'm killing myself for not having done this sooner! Since my old pair (Monsoons) were extremely directional and had a very small sweet spot. Where as with the Klipsch it's just in your face, great lows, sweet highs, and you here everything.

My only beef is that I can wire my own speaker cable to the satellites, granted they are staying pretty close to my monitors anyways.. And I did notice if you wanted to upgrade the wiring there is a kit from Monstercable out there..

Highly HIGHLY recommended.
