Rent-a-Protester

It's all over. Capitalism won. Not just the Cold War, not just the destruction of the "communist" Chinese state from within, but even today's good old fashion European socialist trend setters. It's over. You can now rent-a-protester in Germany, as reported by the BBC here. A finer bon-mot for capitalism couldn't be constructed by the most fervent free-market lassize faire economist.

I think the basic idea is that your run of the mill hippy protesters won't convince the general public. What you really need is a couple of hotties chanting your slogan for 6 or so hours. That'll turn some heads.

Oh sure, one of the protester's disclaimer is: "I would like to point out that not all protests will tally with my own point of view and I would like to distance myself from these ". But really, who is kidding who. Demonstrations historically have been set-up by anyone from anti-globalizationg groups to dictators. But now, thanks to these budding capitalists, anyone can create their own army for the cause du jour.
