Yahoo does this thing every month and puts out the top searches for different countries. They combine "similar" searches to yield the total (i.e. all "NHL" searches were for hockey teams, scores, etc)
Here they are for Canada:

Comments? I'm personally surprised NASCAR placed so high - possibly because of the Daytona 500 during February and also there was that cheating scandal around the same time. But maybe Canadians are a bunch of closet NASCAR watchers as I can count on one hand the number of people who admit watching it. Big props to Revenue Canada for being up there in between American Idol and erstwhile American Idol 'Girl Gone Wild' Antonella Barba.
Upon further thought, I think this list is a better reflection of Yahoo users than Canadians in general. Honestly, who uses Yahoo to search for anything?
