57 U.S. States!

Barack Obama was speaking at the start of a two-day swoop through Oregon, which is already a state. In Beaverton, which is not a state yet, the Democrat let it slip that during this marathon 16-month party presidential nomination struggle he had already visited 57 states with one more to go. Not including Alaska and Hawaii (and who would include those really? The 48 states that are attached together are the money states).
To be fair, I don't really blame Obama for the gaff. If everyone reading this had a microphone shoved in their face for 16 months straight recording every word they said, there would be some pretty good quotes I'm sure.
Still 57 states, not including Hawaii and Alaska, plus one more to go is pretty funny.
In other news, I have visited all 19 Provinces in Canada and 5 Territories, including Oil Country.
