Bigfoot Found?

The Associated Press is reporting that three guys, including one who has previously released a documentary film called Bigfoot Lives, claim to have found the body of the Sasquatch and will release a photo (a photo? why not numerous photos) and DNA evidence on Friday (why Friday? why announce this and then wait a couple days, oh right to build up the buzz before it becomes obviously that they don't have anything).

Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer, Georgia residents who lead Bigfoot-tracking expeditions, say they found the body of what appears to be a Bigfoot in the woods of northern Georgia and will join local Bigfoot researcher Tom Biscardi at the news conference, according to Robert Barrows, who is publicizing the event.

Officials from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Resources Division said the largest wildlife they are aware of in the state are black bears and white-tail deer.

I was going to say... northern Georgia? Really? I think the Sasquatch (Bigfoot) and his cousin the Abominable Snowman (Yeti) are much more likely to be hiding out in the interior of British Columbia and the hinterlands of Nepal, Tibet and Himalayan China then northern Georgia.

Of perhaps bigger importance is not whether Bigfoot Lives but whether the Kokanee Ranger Lives or Dies, now that voting has closed.
