Chevy Volt just got a lot uglier!

When I first heard about the new Electric car from GM, I wasn't that excited. However I was intrigued by the design of the car which I thought looked pretty cool (kinda like the new Camero or something). Granted with any pre-production model you should expect "some" changes:

Holy barftastic! That's right, "Barftastic". Not only did they not release any images without some fat executive standing in front of the car, but the car barely looks anything like the original prototypes (sporty, edgy and cool). "Hey Guys, I know lets shove that design down the tubes and just copy the Prius! That should guarantee a success!" Rrrrright.

Sad to see this type of attitude come up again and again across all industries. It's so rare that anyone innovates and sets a new bar anymore. I'm gonna get jabbed on this, but a while back Steve Jobs was quoted saying something along the lines of "Real artists ship, dabblers create concept products". And man is that bang on.

Hey GM. You're gonna die. Congratulations!
