Happy Sweetest Day, the third Saturday in October. You know... sweetest day (not THE sweetest day which is some confectionery company from Nashville).
The origins of Sweetest Day go back to the early 1920s, somewhere around 1922. Sweetest Day was founded by Herbert Birch Kingston who was a local candy company employee, in Cleveland, Ohio.
So yeah, get on that.
